  Doctor Day

East Main Vision Clinic first opened in 2007 and it has fulfilled my need to serve patients in all aspects of eye care. I have been practicing as an Optometric Physician in the Puyallup Valley for over 30 years, and I hope to practice another 20! My uncle, Dr. Brand, was my inspiration growing up. I was always fascinated by what he did and in his caring spirit.  My style of practice enables me to serve and care for my patients with a wonderful staff that takes ownership and cares the same way I do. My mantra is that I’m here to care about the person in front of me, and to the left and the right.

I have been happily married for 32 years, to my bride Laura, whom has supported me every step of the way! We have 3 beautiful grown children; Ryan is pursuing his career as a firefighter, Drew is married to his lovely wife Hannah, and my daughter Leah is an esthetician working and living in Seattle with her husband and son who was born in April of 2015. Yes! We are grandparents!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially boating together. I love traveling with Laura. I enjoy growing my practice by learning the latest technology, by offering the best instrumentation and products, while creating a warm, caring environment. A lot of what we do here isn't about eye care, and it’s about “we care.”

I have worked for Dr. Day since 2001. I am blessed to still work for him and be a part of East Main Vision Clinic from Phoenix AZ.  My spouse and I moved to Phoenix in 2011 to be with family and start a family of our own.  We now have a little boy Omini, who is the most amazing gift from God.
I spend my days switching between working and taking care of my son.  Nights and weekends are spent having fun, sports, games, dancing, riding bikes, traveling, and more!

I have worked for Dr. Day since 2002. I answer phones, schedule patients, obtain insurance benefits, and do many other office tasks. I like being the first to answer the phone and I love my co-workers!

I like spending time with my husband and our 2 sons.

I have been part of the Optical Department at East Main Vision Clinic since 2003 and feel so fortunate and blessed to be part of such a great team and family. I love helping find that perfect frame and seeing patients' vision transformed with the amazing lenses and products we are able to offer. I have enjoyed building great relationships with so many over the years. I consider it such a privilege to be a part of so many people’s lives through East Main Vision Clinic.

Outside of the office I love spending time with my family and friends. I have two great kids and a husband of 14 years. We enjoy camping, hiking, traveling and just being together. I love to garden, bake and cook.

I have worked with Dr. Day since June of 2004, as a Clinic Technician. It is a pleasure to work with such an amazing team. We have grown over the years into this wonderful family that works together to serve our patients in every possible way. As a technician, I am privileged to work with patients as an investigator or special detective, discovering how we can best serve their eye care needs and prepare them for their visit with Dr. Day. Working to stay educated and informed on today’s latest technologies in eye care and being prepared to continue to assist our patients and Dr. Day is truly the best job on earth.

I have two grown sons whom I cherish and adore. Both have servant’s hearts which makes me so very proud of them. Getting to be their mom is my first and best position ever. Being at East Main Vision Clinic every day and getting to work with such amazing people is second only to the absolute privilege it is to be the mother of these two wonderful men.

I have been working with Dr. Day since August 2004. I am honored to work at the front desk and as an insurance specialist and truly love my job! I love serving our patients and welcoming them into our office.  I feel very blessed to be able to work with every staff member here at EMVC each day; we make it such a great team! I have never worked for such a place that makes it feel like family.

I can say how much I truly care about my EMVC family even more as I recently had some health concerns, and I’ve learned to never take a day for granted.

When I am not at work I enjoy going to Church, running, sewing and making quilts, baking, and I absolutely love my dog! I am blessed with two kids who are all grown up and off at college.

I have worked for Doctor Day since 2003. I consider it one of my greatest honors to work alongside Dr. Day as one of his Clinic Technicians & to be part of this amazing practice! My co-workers are part of my family & I adore them all. I want nothing more than to make our patients smile and for them to know that I genuinely care about them and about making sure all of their visual & eye care needs are met.
Outside of work, I enjoy life being the mother to 3 active boys! I love to spend my time with my boys, family, friends, gardening, taking in nature & dabbling in all things 'design'.

I have been blessed to work with Dr. Day since 2005!  I love being a part of the East Main Vision family where I get to serve patients as an optical technician.  It is rewarding to help select the perfect frame and lens options to create a pair of glasses that is customized to a persons style and needs.   I feel so fortunate to be a part of a team that genuinely cares for each other and all our patients!

Outside of EMVC, I love being with family and friends!  I am married and we have 2 amazing children!  I enjoy decorating, gardening, volunteering, and traveling.

I started working for Dr. Day in October of 2009. I had recently graduated from high school with my Associates degree and loved the biology and anatomy classes I took. Naturally my interest was focused in the medical field, which has brought me here. It’s a blessing to be here at East Main Vision Clinic. Most of my time at work is spent in the Specialized Testing department. My goal is to make patients feel as comfortable as possible and to educate them on their diagnosis and tests.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and our playful dogs. My immediate family is abundant and amazing—it’s a blessing to have them in my life. I am involved in my church and enjoy conversing with new people. I am dedicated to serving our patients at EMVC and I care about every person that I have the opportunity to serve.

I have worked for Dr. Day since 2010. Some of the jobs I enjoy doing here are assisting Dr. Day with as many things as I can to free up his time that can be spent with his valued patients and family. The atmosphere that I have to work in, and that we try to create for our patients, is something that I value and appreciate every single day.

I am the Mother of 6 (yes, you read that right) 6 children, all of whom are grown and have become such wonderful adults. My husband and I enjoy being Grandparents to our fun Grandchildren.

I have been with EMVC since September of 2010 and what an incredible place to be! I am in the front office and specialize in insurance billing. I love being a part of this fun atmosphere! My favorite thing about EMVC is getting to interact with our great patients and vibrant staff. I love that we get to spoil our patients, it is so much fun!

When I am not at EMVC, I love to coach and play soccer with my 2 kids and husband. I am a goof and love to laugh! I love to cook, bake and decorate specialty cakes. Being a part of EMVC has been a blessing to my family.

I've been with East Main Vision Clinic since January 2011. Being a Clinic Technician is both challenging and rewarding. My goal is to continually learn and stay on the cutting edge of the eye health industry. Constantly learning and never getting bored makes my job fun. I enjoy meeting all our wonderful patients and servicing their vision needs. I feel that I have a natural ability to set the patient at ease and make them feel at home. Working with the patient and improving their quality of life truly excites me.
I grew up on the east side, Spokane, and bounced back and forth between Tacoma and Spokane later on. I settled here in the Puyallup area to start a family but I still have strong ties to the east side. They say, “You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl!”

When I'm not gazing into your eyes, my time is usually spent chasing my 4 kids. I love being spontaneous! Throwing my kids in the car and driving to some unknown destination that leads to an unforgettable adventure – that’s my favorite. Making memories is what I live for! I love constantly challenging myself; I work out because I always want to do better and be better. I love being with my kids because they constantly challenge me to be better. Mostly I just love life...

I started at East Main in October of 2012; it has been my privilege to join this team and the good doctor! I enjoy the daily ventures of life at the clinic which include triaging phone calls, filling requests for contacts, medications and working with insurance. My daily mission is to help improve your life; it is my honor and pleasure. My experience in the field of vision continues to grow each day and it is so exciting to play a part in changing people’s lives with sight!

I grew up in Pierce County where I enjoy my friends, family, church and choir. Although I have no children of my own at this time, I have many “little” friends I love dearly!  When work hours end, I enjoy anything outdoors: volleyball, snowboarding, hiking and baseball. When the winter hours come knocking I can be found sewing or crafting in some form. I have two big dogs I call “the girls” who usually demand the outdoors no matter what the Washington weather looks like. My life has been truly blessed at work and home every day.

I am an Optometric Technician and have been working at East Main Vision since April of 2014. I have spent years working in customer service and have been thrilled with the transition into eye care. I can’t think of a better way to spend my days than to work side by side with the team here; every day I learn and grow more than I ever thought possible.

When I am not working, I love spending time with my long-time boyfriend and our two pugs. We love to go “adventuring-” hiking, camping- pretty much anything outdoors. I also love working out, spending time with family and friends, and working on projects around my house.

I started working for Dr. Day In November of 2015, and I am continually blown away everyday by the culture and quality of care EMVC provides. I love being part of the optical department.

Outside of work I enjoy being a wife and also a mom to my sweet little boy who is 2. His big blue eyes smile and are truly infectious! I hope to travel in the future, especially to Europe… I enjoy coffee, movies, books and shopping.

I have been a part of the EMVC's Optical department since the beginning of 2016, and already feel like family! I am so incredibly blessed to work along-side with, and for such an amazing group of people.  I'm so privileged to start my journey here at East Main Vision Clinic and look forward to building great experiences for our patients.

When I'm not at the clinic you can find me chasing after my four kiddos, at the gym, or out adventuring with my husband!
